FranceCar aka Nascar has added another nugget to the wonderful world of vrooming...

The half way point race leader at this year's Daytona 500 will get a suitcase of cash...200K!

That's right...regardless if the half way point has meaning or not, cash will be awarded.

On one hand only the last lap should matter, but on the other hand...once you get to the half way point of a FranceCar event the race is "official".

So is this good incentive or just a little Ringling Brothers thrown in for fan excitement?
